Factory-assembled active harmonic filter cabinets built with Forte GRIDVAR AHF modules. Available in three performance tiers — Standard (GRIDVAR-G), Compact (GRIDVAR-C) and Premium SiC (GRIDVAR-X). Same hardware platform as SVG panels — different firmware and control card for dedicated harmonic filtering.
Forte AHF Panels are factory-assembled active harmonic filter cabinets — each built around one of three GRIDVAR AHF module tiers. The physical panel platform is identical to SVG panels: CT, main breaker, HMI, controller and all internal wiring are common. The difference is in the control card and firmware — optimized for dedicated harmonic filtering rather than reactive power compensation.
GRIDVAR-G AHF — Standard Series. 2nd–51st harmonic, 220V–690V, up to 200A/module. Cost-effective filtering for general industrial harmonic problems.
GRIDVAR-C AHF — Compact Series. 2nd–51st harmonic, 400V, up to 150A. Ultra-slim modules for maximum cabinet density.
GRIDVAR-X AHF — Premium SiC Series. 2nd–51st harmonic, 220V–380V, 4µs response. For arc furnaces and extreme harmonic environments.
All three AHF panel types reduce THDi to below 5% at the point of common coupling, meeting IEEE 519 and IEC 61000-3-4 requirements. Each harmonic order can be individually prioritised for selective filtering. Multiple cabinets operate in parallel for higher capacity. Factory tested, shipped complete, ready for connection.
All three panels share the same cabinet platform. The AHF module determines harmonic filtering performance.

A complete harmonic mitigation solution that arrives factory-tested and ready to connect — reducing THDi to IEEE 519 and IEC 61000 compliance levels.
Active injection of counter-phase harmonic currents reduces total harmonic distortion at the point of common coupling to below 5% — meeting IEEE 519 and IEC 61000-3-4 limits for all facility types.
Covers the full range of harmonic orders encountered in industrial environments — from 2nd harmonic (arc furnaces) through 51st harmonic (high-frequency switching loads).
Each harmonic order can be individually enabled, disabled or prioritised. Target only the harmonics that matter — for example, prioritise 5th and 7th while monitoring 11th and 13th.
Real-time harmonic spectrum display shows individual harmonic magnitudes before and after filtering. Trend logging and alarm history accessible from the cabinet front panel.
One-button commissioning automatically detects CT ratios, measures the existing harmonic profile and configures filtering priorities. Reduces setup time from hours to minutes.
Multiple AHF Panels operate in parallel with automatic load sharing and harmonic current distribution. Scale filtering capacity linearly without complex system reconfiguration.
Wherever non-linear loads generate harmonic distortion that exceeds utility limits or causes equipment interference.
Variable frequency drives are the largest source of harmonic distortion in modern industry. AHF Panels clean the bus at the MCC level.
UPS systems and server power supplies generate significant 5th and 7th harmonics. Critical infrastructure demands clean power.
Welding robots, servo drives and CNC machines create complex harmonic profiles requiring selective filtering.
Ultra-sensitive processes require THDi well below 5%. AHF Panels provide the clean power environment that production demands.
Large rectifier-fed DC drives for crushers and conveyors. High harmonic content at the 6-pulse and 12-pulse characteristic orders.
Process control instrumentation sensitivity. AHF Panels prevent harmonic-induced measurement errors and relay malfunctions.
LED lighting, IT equipment and elevator drives. Neutral conductor overloading from triplen harmonics in 3P4W systems.
Solar inverters and wind converters inject harmonics at the point of grid connection. Meet grid code requirements with active filtering.
