Forte's field service team commissions every system we build and provides ongoing maintenance support. Same engineers who designed and manufactured your system — they know it, they service it.

Every commissioning includes Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) before shipment and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) on-site, with before/after power quality verification using HIOKI Class-A analysers.

What We Cover

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

Full functional test of all panels and control systems at our İzmir facility before shipment. Customer witness option available. Test protocols, measurement records and sign-off documentation included.

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

On-site commissioning and acceptance test after installation. System performance verified against design targets using HIOKI Class-A power quality analysers. SAT report delivered at handover.

Commissioning

Step-by-step system energisation, parameter setting, CT polarity verification, protection relay testing and first power factor correction validation. Performed by Forte's field engineers.

Performance Verification

Post-commissioning power quality measurement to confirm THD reduction, power factor improvement and reactive power compensation against the original design specification.

Preventive Maintenance

Scheduled annual and semi-annual maintenance visits. Terminal inspection and torque check, capacitor current measurement, thermal imaging, functional test and maintenance report.

Corrective Maintenance & Spare Parts

Fast-response corrective maintenance for faults and failures. Forte stocks critical spare parts — CSM100 modules, GRIDTUNE reactors, GRIDCAP capacitors and GRIDVAR modules — for rapid system restoration.

A structured six-step commissioning sequence ensuring safe, verified system startup.

Pre-Commissioning Check

Visual inspection, cable routing verification, grounding check, CT wiring polarity confirmation and insulation test.

System Energisation

Controlled step-by-step energisation with protection relay monitoring. Voltage measurement at each stage.

Parameter Setting

Controller programming, power factor target setting, step configuration, harmonic filter tuning and alarm limit setting.

Functional Test

Full automatic and manual operation test. Each compensation step verified. Alarm and protection trip test.

Performance Measurement

HIOKI PQ3198-94 measurement before and after compensation. Power factor, THD and reactive power demand verified against design specification.

Handover & Training

Operator training on system operation and daily checks. Complete documentation package: as-built drawings, test records, O&M manual, warranty certificate.
